4711 Eau de Cologne
A classic fragrance given to Frederich Muelhens by a monk
Wear a historic fragrance next time you're getting ready to go out on a hot date.
Pick up a bottle of 4711 Eau de Cologne. The scent is the oldest men's manufactured cologne originally bottled in 1792.
In Cologne, Germany, Frederich Muelhens was given the recipe as a wedding present by a local monk as a wedding present and started producing it at his design house.
Using exactly the same ingredients the cologne is still bottled today. Those ingredients are attar of roses from Bulgaria, sandalwood oil from India and from Haiti, vetiver oil.
Never apply an alcohol-based after shave directly after shaving as your skin will become inflamed as your pores are open.
If you suffer from razor bumps, acne or any skin condition consult your doctor.
A bad shaving technique will damage your skin so learn the art of shaving.
The Romans believed a man's scent was a sign of his standing. There's an old Latin proverb about the value of cologne "Never think of leaving perfume or wine to your heir. Administer these to yourself and let him have your money." A more modern piece of reasoning comes from anthropologist Margaret Mead who says "You could never have a relationship with someone whose smell you didn't like" as a piece of unintended dating advice.
