Rocking around the Dock - Dock Rock at Dover Wellington Docks
Entrance to Dock Rock is free but bucket shaking collections will be made throughout the day to help fund the above good causes.
All proceeds from buying the vivid green sticks of Dover Rock with Dock Rock running through the centre go towards the fundraising.
LA Music Club
This club of young musicians was formed in April 2009 and meet at Dover's Leisure Centre. The aim of the club is to give budding talent a place to meet and perform out of school time. They will be the biggest band Dock Rock has seen and are opening the event with Queen's We Will Rock You. After they've finished their Dock Rock set they'll be hosting their own stage inviting anybody to get up and have a go - will Topper Headon be putting in an appearance?

A husband and wife team from Deal who've now enlisted son Kieran as drummer. They've been playing together since 1991 but only since Kieran's hit appearance on Britaint's Got Talent playing drums that the family have found themselves in the limelight. Do not expect death metal or foxtrots from them - just great cover versions to get you dancing!
This 6 piece who come together to play from all over the South East, wanted a quiet life so started Los Salvadores in 2004. The quiet life didn't work out, Dock Rock is one of 3 festivals they are performing at on the day! Mixing drums, strings and vocals they promise to get feet tapping. Influenced by bands such as Bellowhead and The Levellers.

The Kingsdown Band
20 years ago two parents with children at Kingsdown School began playing together. Now there are 12 of them providing a set of covers to get everyone dancing.

A 4 piece folk rock band from Dover who perform using mandolin, guitar, violin and accordion. Their name comes from a love of the shipping forecast and from the home town of the violin!

A Fab Four tribute band from Folkestone performing a set at Dock Rock for everyone to sing along with.
Floyd in the Flesh
Pink Floyd fans know In The Flesh is the opening track from The Wall. Floyd in the Flesh say they perform "painstaking recreations" of Pink Floyd's music. They've been together for just over a year and already are gaining a reputation for their authenticity and great musicianship.

A promise of acoustic pop classic covers and original music from James Fairfoul and Andrea French who've been performing for a couple of years.
4 piece punk band from Deal, Ashford and Dover who are influenced by The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers and Rancid. Play some covers but also original songs.
Aiming to please with their brand of loud, fast and furious covers. After proving such a hit at the last Dock Rock User Friendly were one of the first bands to be asked to play at the 2009 event.

While bassist Slim was away in the West Midlands Jah visited him in a dream and told him "return to Dover, reform Hey Rudi and preach my message of love to the people". How could he refuse? So they're back, bigger and better; but not much wiser; than ever! Plenty of two-tone, reggae and ska to dance to as the night moves in.

Martin, from Dover, hass been playing guitar since the age of 9 and found fame in 2009 when auditioning for Britain's Got Talent with his lit-up guitar and and appearance his Mum in Law1 He reached the semi-finals and hasn't looked back since.

A Faversham 5-piece that have been performing together since a teacher suggested they put on a school show. Now in their mid-twenties they are busy producing their debut album for release later in 2009. For Dock Rock they promise a mix of rock and pop covers and a taste of their original songs.
