Dear Daniel, My question is…
I've always had long hair and I now want a short hair style.
I would like it very short and tidy. I'm 18 years of age with blonde hair.
I never go to the barbers/hairdressers as I never know what to ask for - so I thought you may be able to help me with some ideas of what I need to ask for.
I want the sides and back fairly short and enough on the top to gel but keep it simple.
Any advice will be gratefully received? Thank you
Most salons have a selection of hairstyle books.
Before going you should buy a few fashion magazines and then you will hopefully have an idea of how you want your new style to look.
Ask your girlfriend or sister to help you. When you're ready try to have an appointment and consultation prior to going ahead with your style change.
