Shaving against the grain
Dear Daniel, My question is…
At present I use a Gillette Mach 3, a shaving brush and traditional shaving cream.
I usually make two passes and then shave against the growth on the sides of my face to finish. I gather this is not a good idea in your view.
I also get the occasional razor bump, usually on my chin, is the above a cause of this?
Shaving against the grain will create shaving bumps.
Going down twice is enough.
