Dry and flakey skin

Dear Daniel, My question is…

Can you offer some tips or tricks to get an even trim when transitioning between the different lengths?

Also my facial skin is very dry, almost as if I've dandruff in my beard.

What would would be the best way to get rid of the flaking?

Daniel Rouah Answers

A beard should be washed every day using a mild soap and ensure it is rinsed well. Comb the beard two or three times a day with a special beard brush.

If you have dry skin after washing your face use a moisturising cream, seek help from a beautician as it depends on the type of skin you have.

Drink plenty of still water, avoid too much sugar and alcohol.

You probably don't have dandruff it could be that when you wash your beard you dont rinse it enough and the soap dries and looks like dandruff.

Don't put anything on it, instead, seek help from your GP.
