Honing stone angles
Dear Daniel, My question is…
I recently bought a carbon steel cut throat razor. I was just getting used to using it and getting a great shave.
However, I decided it must need sharpening and bought a honing stone. I wished I hadn't bothered.
It has been blunt ever since. I was told to hold the razor at a 45 degree angle when using the honing stone.
What have I done wrong?
Any advice would be gratefully received and I thank you.
